Evelyn Ng
Evelyn Ng was born in Toronto, Canada in 1975 and is a former blackjack dealer and one time girlfriend of fellow Canadian Daniel Negreanu.
Ng has quickly become one of the most recognizable female poker players in the world.
Known for her aggressive playing style and model good looks, this 5’11 beauty gained first achieved fame on the World Poker Tour circuit in 2003 after placing second in the Ladies Night 1 tournament – finishing ahead of established pros Annie Duke and Jennifer Harman.
Since Evelyn’s breakthrough, she has finished at 22nd place in the main event of World Poker Tour 2005, as well as a 29th place at Bellagio Five Diamond Poker Classic in December 2004.
With more than $250,000 in tournament winnings since 2004, Ng is dedicated to reaching her goal of becoming the first woman to win the main event of the World Series of Poker and continues to play in the biggest tournaments around the world.
In her downtime she also hones her cash game skills by playing on Bodog whenever she can.
When she’s not practicing her game, the self-proclaimed “pop-culture addict” has been seen dealing at Hollywood home games as well as appearing as a color commentator for Game Show Network’s Poker Royale and NBC’s coverage of the Poker Superstars Invitational.
