Four-Three

Everybody antes. Four cards are dealt to each player. After a declare round, those players that are “in” are dealt three additional cards.

Another declare round follows for players that are in, indicating if they are going High, Low, or both. Players use their best five card poker hand of the seven cards. Players calling “both” may use different combinations of five cards for High and Low. The winning High hand takes half the pot; the winning Low hand takes the other half. Those that are in but don’t win either must match the pot.

Feel free to insert a betting round after the additional three cards are dealt and before the second declare round.
