2020 Summer Online (WSOP) Details Announced
Each year thousands of poker players from all corners of the world make the pilgrimage to Las Vegas, Nevada to play in as many WSOP events as they can fit in and sensibly afford to play. The dream is be immortalized in the poker history books as a World Series of Poker Champ, and a “Bracelet Winner” (the WSOP awards an elaborate bracelet to the winner of each event in the seires to commemorate the occasion).
The live 2020 World Series of Poker has been put on ice for now, but in the meantime the WSOP has announced that a long summer of bracelet hunting is still on the cards – with a total of 85 bracelets to be awarded via a series of online tournaments on WSOP.com and GGPoker, starting July 1st (the day the 2020 WSOP Main Event was originally supposed to start), and running until early September.

The Summer Online WSOP is made up of 31 events, one per day throughout July. As an extra incentive for grinders, there’s also a leaderboard involved with a $100,000 prize-pool. Points will be awarded to players based on their performance over the series, with the potential to unlock some serious cash.

Summer WSOP Bracelet Events on GGPoker
WSOP.com has entered a partnership with GGPoker so that players outside of the USA can win bracelets, with another 54 bracelet events will be to be run on GGPoker to bring the total summer WSOP online bracelets total to 85. GGPoker is one of the handful of poker sites that accept cryptocurrency like BTC.
WSOP Games will run on GGPoker from July 19 until Sept. 6. As soon as the schedule is released, we will update this post.
